These solutions are based on well proven concepts, tailor made to fit customer requests for highly efficient machineries that fulfil current and future environmental legislation. Our engines offer the lowest emission levels on the market, an important advantage for ferries operating in environmentally sensitive areas, or visiting ports close to densely populated areas.
For even further emissions reduction, we can offer various solutions. We have developed our own Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) process, called the Nitrogen Oxide Reducer (NOR). We also provide a viable solution to the noise challenge with advanced flexible mountings, which have many advantages in demanding ferry installations. Together with our Compact Silencer System (CSS), these offer a truly noise-free solution. Our CP propellers are designed to offer low noise and vibration levels as well.
With the future in mind, we have our well-proven duel fuel (DF) engine, which can run on both gas and liquid fuel. With low emissions of CO2, NOx, and SO2, this is the natural choice for environmentally friendly shipping.
