Cruise

Your choice of concept and support options for your cruise vessel will have an impact on the operational economy as well as on the environment.

Products & Concepts
The level of comfort for the passengers is important. Our engines with advanced flexible mountings are therefore a great advantage in these demanding installations. Our CP propellers are designed to offer low noise and vibration levels as well. The noise can further be reduced with Efficiency Rudders, which have been applied successfully in cruise ferries.

Combined Diesel-Electric and Diesel-Mechanical (CODED) machinery is a propulsion and machinery concept for the next generation of cruise ships. CODED features a hybrid propulsion configuration with two electrical pods and one mechanically driven feathering CP propeller, offering many advantages over traditional machinery solutions.

Environmental solutions
There are several possibilities to adapt the power production to your environmental and legal requirements, for example the EnviroEngine and the EnviroSeal for your shaft line. Our engines offer the lowest emission levels in the market and this is important for cruise ferries operating in environmentally sensitive areas or spending a lot of time in port close to densely populated areas.

Support options for your cruise vessel
Focus on entertaining your customers while Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) in combination with other services assists you with intelligent maintenance. CBM can not only lower your maintenance cost, it can also give you an early warning, if something is not as it should be, well in time to correct the situation.
