Ecosafe is a non–polluting bearing system designed for water–lubricated sterntubes and for all vessel types. A water lubrication system ensures that there will be no negative impact to the environment. We supply ready–to–fit bearing systems. They can be press–fitted into the stern tube, with or without their housing (fully machined), ready to be inserted into the stern frame or bracket boss. Final fitting can be achieved by aligning the assemblies, and casting them into the rough cast stern tube or bracket boss with resin. To provide the highest degree of accuracy in the final alignment, this well–proven method enables the assemblies to be fitted at the end of the hull construction, thereby eliminating any movement due to welding. An open water lubricated system requires just an inboard seal.
